  1. I would like to follow up on this post about Asian Philosophy.

Is Asian Philosophy subjecting papers to blind review?

I published a paper there in the past two years and received no comments at all. Just an acceptance. A colleague of mine had the same experience. Anyone else? Has anyone had written comments and anything other than an acceptance in the past two years?

  2. I published an article there a couple of years ago. I remember simply that after submission, it took a bit of time to get an acknowledgement that it was received. Then, after a few emails, I was told it was received, and then in a few months, acceptance. The note acknowledging receipt from the editor did say “We will be in touch as soon as we have heard from our referees.” They had active copy-editors, but I don’t remember much by way of substantive criticism from the referees, and I can’t find any emails with such right now.

(Of course, we can flatter ourselves that the papers were so good that no revisions were needed, right?)

This is the peer-review policy as stated on the website:

    Peer Review Policy:
All research articles published in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymized refereeing by at least two anonymous referees.
