  1. Here’s another posting, from Pace University (NYC).

The Department of Philosophy & Religious Studies within the Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, Pace University invites applications for an anticipated faculty position at the Assistant Professor level (tenure-track) to begin September 2016. The position is located at the University’s campus in lower Manhattan.

Applicants should have an earned Ph.D. in either Philosophy, preferably with competence in religious studies, or Religious Studies. Expertise in the foundational texts within Philosophy and in both Western and Eastern religious traditions is required. The successful candidate will have a publication record rooted in a clear scholarly agenda as well as a history of excellent undergraduate teaching that includes the use of high-impact pedagogical practices. The successful applicant will be expected to develop a scholarship program involving undergraduate students.

  2. Not to throw a damper on this post, Matt, and I do not have any inside information, but the advertisement for Loyola said that they would begin review of candidates in November and the philosophy job wiki does say first-round interviews have begun. Whether the wiki is reliable is another question.
