Please welcome Anand Jayprakash Vaidya as a new contributor to the Indian Philosophy Blog!
Anand is the Director of the Center for Comparative Philosophy at San Jose State University in California. He did his undergraduate work at UCLA focusing on logic, language, and metaphysics. He did his graduate work at UCSB focusing on modal logic, epistemology, and the philosophy of mind. Anand is interested in a wide range of philosophical topics ranging from classical Indian philosophy and analytic epistemology to applied ethics and the philosophy of economics. At present he is working on comparative philosophical issues at the intersection of classical Indian philosophy, analytic philosophy, and phenomenology in the areas of mind, metaphysics, epistemology, and critical thinking.
