NYU Shanghai is seeking to fill a tenured or tenure-track position in Philosophy, with area of specialization and area of competence open, beginning in the Fall Semester of 2016. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. prior to the starting date of the appointment.

To ensure full consideration, applications should be submitted by November 1, 2015; applications received after that date may be reviewed until the position is filled. Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, separate statements of research and teaching interests (no more than three pages each), and electronic copies of representative publications. The terms of employment in NYU Shanghai are comparable to U.S. institutions in terms of research start-up funds and compensation, and include housing subsidies and educational subsidies for children.
